On the evening of September 13, 2022, the College of International Education of Shanghai Business School held the 2022 Opening Ceremony for International Students in Conference Room 1401, Xuhui Campus. He Ying, Vice President of Shanghai Business School, leaders and professors of College of Professional Finance & Accountancy, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Business and Economics, Business Information and International Education attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by Chen Wei, executive vice dean of International Education College of SBS, and more than 70 international students from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe participated in the opening ceremony offline or online.

According to the “Notice of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission on Announcement of the List of Demonstrative Courses Taught in English for International Students in Shanghai Universities in 2021” (Shanghai Education Commission Foreign [2022] No. 36), The “Investment” and “Finance” by Wang Xiaoping, Associate Professor of the College of Finance and “International Finance” by Guo Raofeng of our university were awarded the title of “English-taught Demonstration Courses for International Students in Shanghai Universities”.

On the afternoon of September 9, 2022, the College of International Education organized a training session for international student counselors/class teachers. Ding Jie, Deputy Director of the International Student Affairs Office of Fudan University, was invited as the guest trainer. Dai Ying, Vice Dean of the College, presided over the meeting, which was attended by all staff from the International Students Office and counselors/class teachers from second-level colleges of SBS.

Chen Qingfen from Foreign Economic Cooperation Department of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Chen Wei, executive vice dean of International Education College of Shanghai Business School, Xiao Benhua, researcher of Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance, and Chen Guozheng, associate researcher of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, attended the opening ceremonies and delivered speeches.

At 8:00 a.m. on August 26, 2022, Beijing time, an online exchange meeting between our university, the University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and the Federal Agricultural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) in Brazil was successfully held.
