On the morning of March 13th, Chen Changsheng, Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Jiangxi Province, Fan Huimei, Director of theForeign Investment and Economic Division, Zhang Qianfan, Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment and Economic Division, and Liu Jing, Deputy Director of the Open Development Division, visited our university to investigate foreign aid training. The meeting was chaired by Vice President of SBS He Ying, and attended by Deputy Dean Chen Wei and Dai Ying from the College of International Education of SBS.
He Ying warmly welcomed the delegation from theDepartment of Commerceof Jiangxi Provinceand gave a comprehensive introduction to the university's development history and academic programs. She emphasized that the university is committed to building a distinctive profile in application-oriented, innovative, and international education to cultivate business talents. By internationalizing the student body, faculty, curriculum, platforms, teaching and research, the university aims to serve its mission of opening up to the outside world. Chen Wei presented an overview of our foreign aid training and development ideas from four perspectives: the foreign aid base, foreign aid training, work effectiveness, and work vision for 2023.
Deputy Director Chen Changsheng expressed high appreciation for our university's foreign aid training work, stating that our training programs are highly distinctive and have bright spots in terms of project types, expert resources, student exchanges and cooperation, and training publicity. He mentioned that he would learn from the concepts and excellent practices of the Shanghai base in foreign aid training, and hoped that Shanghai and Jiangxi could share resources, enhance connectivity, strengthen cooperation, and progress together.
Vice President He Ying gave a response and concluding remarks. She stated that the university and foreign aid base are one family and emphasized the need to strengthen communication, deepen cooperation, share resources, and promote joint development. She also stressed the importance of promoting the high-quality development of China's foreign aid business.
