“A piece of music can overcome the limit of time with the permanent circulation of the true, the good and the beautiful.” The circulation of traditional music and traditional instruments is not only the manifestation of traditional cultural deposits, but also the inheritance of traditional culture. Traditional musical instruments and music show the “soul” of the nation and the “essence” of the Chinese people. As a form of civilization dissemination, traditional music is a treasure of literature and art, with national character, historical traits, contemporariness and global features. Through this activity, the international students can better understand Chinese traditional musical instruments and music, enhance their ability to appreciate art, and get to know the “aesthetics” of Chinese traditional culture combined with art, thus promoting the exchange of Chinese and foreign cultures while letting different cultures collide to create the “concerto” of civilization.
