On Tuesday afternoon, October 17, 2023, the Collegeof International Education held an exchange event with the theme of appreciating traditional Chinese folk instruments for international students from around the world. Duringtheexchange,international students learned about the evolution of traditional national musical instruments in China, appreciated the beauty of ancient rhyme and strengthened their aesthetic education.
The exchange takes the introduction of the development history of traditional Chinese folk instruments as the starting point, explaining the changes and development in the production process andhowtoplaytheserefined music instruments. We also invitedChinese students to perform traditional Chinese instruments such as the guzheng, pipa, and flute on site for international students. They all spokehighly of the melodious charm.
This exchange focuses on aesthetic education, organically imbued with Chinese sentiment.Through this activity,international studentscanfurtherstrengthen the understanding of traditional Chinese instruments and culture, enhanceartistic appreciation and aesthetic abilities,henceimprove humanistic quality.
