On the afternoon of May 28th, 2021, a Shanghai International Table Tennis Museum visit for international students was organized by the college of international education, aiming to appreciate the outstanding Chinese sports culture through the development history of table tennis.
There are different exhibition areas in the Table Tennis Museum. In the China Pavilion, the first thing that can be seen is a postcard sent from Tianjin of China to Brussels of Belgium, which records the scene of table tennis in Tianjin at that time. International students witnessed the history of Chinese table tennis through postcards. At the same time, the students learned about Shanghai's contribution to promoting the coordinated development of mass sports, competitive sports and the sports industry, and they witnessed the glorious history of Chinese table tennis. In addition, there are advanced VR interactive experience area, multimedia interactive area and 3D cinema in the Pavilion. International students further experienced the charm of table tennis through the virtual playing device in the experience area.

The visit aroused the interestofinternational students in table tennis. They said: "Table tennis is of great significance to China, hope we can learn to play table tennis in the future to understand China better."
