On the morning of December 14, the College of International Education and MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) held a Debriefing and Appraisal Meeting of the Leading Bodies in Conference Room 1501 of the Xuhui Campus. Mr. Wang Weida, Deputy Head of the Organization Department of Shanghai Business School, Mr. Chen Wei, Executive Vice Dean of the College, Ms. Dai Ying, Vice Dean of the College, and all administrative staff of the College attended the meeting presided over by Mr. Chen Wei.
At the meeting, Mr. Chen first reported on the College’s work this year on behalf of the College’s leading group as well as his personal work. He said that the newly established College has faced challenges such as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the integration of work and staff, and the improvement of work requirements. However, under the leadership of the SBS party and administrative team, the College has forged ahead, overcome difficulties, and achieved good results in six aspects, including the construction of system and mechanism, the upgrade of the scale of education for foreign students and foreign aid training, the construction of the College connotation, the innovation of foreign aid training model, the realization of the spillover effect in foreign aid, and scientific research, successfully accomplishing the set goals. For the hard-earned achievements made by the whole College, Mr. Chen expressed his heartfelt thanks to all colleagues at the meeting and encouraged everyone to strive for better results in the coming year.
Ms. Dai made a report on the work completion of the year, achievements and existing problems, and work plan and ideas for the next year. She said that the College has improve the scale and quality of international student sources, steadily advanced the construction of international student-oriented curricular connotations, and gained certain results in the management and service of international students. These are inseparable from the strong support of the leadership team and all colleagues of the College. Besides, she will further improve the work level and learning ability, and strive for more perfect performances in the coming year.
After the reports of the College leading bodies, under the organization of Mr. Wang Weida, all the teaching and administrative staff of the College submitted their appraisal opinions into the polling box. The appraisal of the College’s grassroots administrative staff was carried out orderly on the morning of December 10th. So far, the College has successfully completed the 2021 appraisal work.
